Media Studies 3:Coursework: The production essentials

After finishing all of the paperwork for our production piece, as a group Vicky and I decided to make sure that we had all of the basics covered before we started to film.

Together we sat down and complied a list of the characters that we would need to cast and also all of the equipment that we would need. Our cast list goes as follows:

Old Lady- BECKY

This is the most updated list so far. This was not the first list that we created and may not be the last as some of the actors have not confirmed that they will be in our production piece.  However to cover our backs we have created a potential backup cast list.

Having a list of equipment needed is helpful for us as a group as it allows us to understand who has what equipment and what we will need to get before filming commences. The equipment list that we created is stated below:

Editing Software 

As our Media Studies class only has a few high tech cameras that we have to share out between the groups, we have decided to try filming with our own cameras so that the footage that we film is separate from the other groups and so that we can work on the production at home in our own time as well as working in our dedicated media lessons.
